1. Who we are

Fitness Muscle Coach (“FMC”, “we”, “us”) is a coaching platform provided by MazidiGroup that connects personal-training coaches with their clients. This policy explains what information FMC collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. For privacy questions contact support@mazidigroup.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers the FMC mobile application and the FMC service backend. It applies to both coach and client accounts.

3. Information you provide

4. Fitness and coaching information

FMC exists to deliver coaching, so it stores the training information you and your coach create: training programmes, exercises, sets, repetitions, loads, workout history, body-weight and progress entries, weekly check-ins (including well-being ratings such as energy, sleep, soreness and mood, and any notes you write), and engagement information shown to your coach such as adherence and streaks.

Clients can also complete a training profile so their coach can plan appropriately. It holds what you choose to enter: your main goal, training experience, how many days a week you can train and for how long, the equipment you can use, exercises you enjoy or would rather avoid, an optional event or target date, and optional body measurements (height and body weight).

The training profile includes an optional free-text field for injuries or limitations you want your coach to train around, and a coach may record similar context in their own notes (section 11). This is health-related information about you. FMC treats it purely as background a coach uses when planning your training: FMC does not diagnose, assess or treat injuries, does not use this information for advertising or profiling, and does not share it beyond you, your own coach, and the hosting provider that runs the database. You can edit or clear it at any time, and it is erased when you delete your account.

You and your coach can set goals (for example a target lift, a target body weight, or a number of workouts). FMC updates a goal’s progress from training you have already logged.

5. Content you create

FMC stores content you create in the app: messages between a coach and their client, check-in notes, progress and check-in photos you choose to attach (using your camera or photo library with your permission), programme content authored by coaches, and check-in templates.

After a workout you can send your coach feedback: whether a session or exercise felt too easy, about right or too hard, an optional flag that something caused discomfort, an optional note that your technique concerned you, and a free-text comment. You can also ask your coach to substitute an exercise, giving a reason such as equipment being unavailable or discomfort. A discomfort flag is information for your coach to consider — FMC does not interpret it, does not offer medical advice, and never changes your programme automatically because of it. Only your coach decides whether to change your training.

6. Subscription and purchase information

Coach subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple: FMC never receives or stores your payment-card details. To verify subscriptions, FMC and its subscription-management provider RevenueCat process your FMC account identifier and subscription state (plan, product, status, and renewal period). This is used solely to activate the features you have paid for.

7. Technical information

FMC uses authentication tokens to keep you signed in, and its servers keep standard operational request logs (such as request identifiers, request paths, status codes and timings) for reliability and security. Hosting infrastructure may record IP addresses in standard server logs. The FMC app contains no advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs and no third-party crash-reporting SDK.

7a. Push notifications

If you allow notifications, your device issues a push token — an identifier for that device’s notification channel — which FMC stores against your account so it can deliver coaching alerts (a new or updated programme, a check-in, a completed workout, a message). The push token identifies a device, not you personally, and FMC does not use it for advertising, analytics or tracking. You can turn individual notification types off in More → Notification settings, or turn notifications off entirely in your device settings; the same information still appears inside the app. Push tokens are deleted when you sign out on that device, when the notification service reports the device as no longer registered, and when you delete your account.

8. Safety reports and blocking

If you report a message or another user, FMC stores the report: who reported whom, the reason you select, an optional note, a reference to the reported content, and when it happened. If you block another user, FMC stores that block relationship to enforce it. These records are used to keep the service safe.

9. AI-assisted drafting

When a coach chooses to generate an AI-drafted reply to a client’s check-in, or an AI-drafted programme outline, the relevant check-in content (ratings, note, and client first name) or programme requirements are transmitted through our AI integration provider (Emergent) to a third-party large language model provider (currently OpenAI models) solely to generate that draft. Drafts are shown to the coach, who decides what to send.

10. How information is used

11. Sharing between coach and client

Sharing your information with your own coach (or, for coaches, with your own clients) is the core of the service. Your coach can see the training data, training profile, goals, workout feedback, check-ins, progress entries, photos and messages you create in FMC. Coaches’ programme content and replies are visible to the client they are for. FMC does not make your personal data visible to unrelated users.

Coaches’ private notes. Coaches can keep working notes about their own clients — free-text notes, labels, a next action, and context such as injuries to train around or session preferences — together with whether they consider a client active, paused or archived. These notes are written by your coach, are visible only to that coach, and are not shown to you in the app. They are personal data about you: they are erased when either you or your coach deletes their FMC account, and you can ask us for a copy or ask for them to be corrected or deleted (section 21). Marking a client paused or archived only changes how they appear on the coach’s roster; it does not delete any training history.

12. Service providers

These providers process data to run FMC — we do not permit them to use your personal data for their own advertising.

13. Selling personal information

FMC does not sell personal information.

14. Advertising and tracking

FMC shows no third-party advertising and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

15. Data security

FMC uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections, stores passwords only as secure hashes, and revokes authentication tokens on sign-out. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

16. Data retention

We keep your information while your account exists and as needed to provide the service, meet operational requirements, and comply with legitimate legal obligations. When you delete your account, your personal data is erased as described below. If an external erasure request (for example to our subscription provider) temporarily fails, we keep a minimal internal record containing only your opaque account identifier so the erasure can be completed.

17. Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your FMC account in the app: More → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. It erases your account record and sign-in credentials, your sessions, your conversations (a coach–client conversation is removed in full for both participants), your notifications, your device push tokens, and — for clients — your workout history, set logs, progress entries, check-ins and photos, your training profile, your goals, your workout feedback, your exercise-substitution requests, your workout reschedules, and invitations addressed to you. For coaches it also erases your programmes, programme templates, invitations, leads, check-in templates, check-in schedules, exercise-substitution preferences and subscription entitlement records, and disconnects your clients (their own training data remains theirs). Coaches’ private notes about a client are erased when either the coach or that client deletes their account. Incidental historical text in another user’s notification list (for example “Sam finished a workout”) may persist without any account identifiers. After deletion your credentials can no longer be used to sign in.

18. Subscription data on deletion

When you delete your account, FMC also requests deletion of your customer record from RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider.

19. Sign in with Apple on deletion

If you signed in with Apple, FMC revokes its Apple sign-in authorization for your account during deletion where technically possible, and removes stored Apple identifiers. If automatic revocation cannot be completed, we record it for manual follow-up — and you can always remove Fitness Muscle Coach yourself in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple.

20. Account deletion and Apple subscriptions

Deleting your FMC account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Auto-renewable subscriptions are billed by Apple and can only be cancelled through your Apple Account (Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the App Store). If you delete your FMC account without cancelling, Apple may continue to bill you until you cancel with Apple.

21. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise deletion directly in the app (section 17), and you can export your own data as CSV files in the app: clients under More → Export my data, and coaches for their own clients from a client’s coaching profile. For any other request, or if you cannot use the app, contact support@mazidigroup.com and we will respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law.

22. Children

FMC is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

23. International processing

FMC and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

24. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update it here and revise the Last Updated date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app where appropriate.
